So I am a bit confused. Are you Catholic or Calvinist?

Who me? Neither one. Just thought it was interesting what Calvin wrote about Mary. I don't think she was a perpetual virgin, and I agree with Calvin that this doctrine takes the focus off of Christ, and I agree that Jesus, in His responses to His mother, was showing that the focus should not be on her.

LOL! I thought it was you who had converted to Catholicism over at VTC. Please see here on this thread. Whew! My mistake.

Oh dear! I see what you mean! But that Jenny spells her name differently than I do. Some things we can't know for sure, but one of the things I am certain of is that I will never convert to the Roman Catholic Church. All we need is a local body of believers who are led by Spirit-annointed men, and who are living in obedience to The Word of God (Christ as revealed in scripture) by the power of the Spirit in unity with the Body of Christ. That is the historic church which Jesus Christ founded

Oh Jennie! What a shock that would have been for everyone if you had converted. Sorry for the confusion. Happy Easter to you!

Hi Jenny! Yes it would have been a shock, I'm sure, after all I've said so far. Happy Easter to you too :)
