The Coloring Song by Petra: Video

Here's a great old song by Petra. My daughter's dance class is going to dance to it soon, and I loved it when I heard it. Enjoy!

I like that sound. It's like folk music or Irish music, which I like very much.

It reminded me of "wordless book," don't you think?

Yes, I think that may have been the idea for the song.

Have you heard any of Petra's other songs? Their style of rock isn't my favorite style of music, but I can take it in small doses. They have had a consistent Christian witness for the 33 years they performed. I really like the lead singer's voice.

Petra songs? No. Why don't you list your favorites and I'll listen to them at YouTube or at iTunes. Thanks.

I'll look up some and list them, Teresa.
Most of them are not this ballad style. I really like this one too because it does sound like Irish music, as you said.

I'm listening and I agree that the lead singer has a good voice (e.g., the TBN clip of "Lovely Lord").

I also like the guitar, often a Spanish guitar.

Thanks for setting up those music videos at YouTube. Very nice of you, Jennie.

Hi Teresa,
You're welcome; I'm glad you liked the music.
If you like the Spanish guitar, you may like the new video slide show I just posted today.
