For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty... that no flesh should glory in His presence.... —that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.” 1 Corinthians 1:26-31

Happy Epiphany: The Light of the World has come to the Gentiles!
Isaiah 60:
1 Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
3 The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.
4 “Lift up your eyes all around, and see:
They all gather together, they come to you;
Your sons shall come from afar,
And your daughters shall be nursed at your side.
5 Then you shall see and become radiant,
And your heart shall swell with joy;
Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you,
The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.
6 The multitude of camels shall cover your land,
The dromedaries of Midian and Ephah;
All those from Sheba shall come;
They shall bring gold and incense,
And they shall proclaim the praises of the Lord.
7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you,
The rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you;
They shall ascend with acceptance on My altar,
And I will glorify the house of My glory.

Hi Jennie, just ran across your blog here as I was looking at endtimepilgrim and you came up. I like his information and you have a beautiful blog. I will bookmark you and be back. Jesus be with you in your walk with HIM and he is coming back soon.
Hi RomaLynn,
Thank you, I'm so glad you like my blog. I also really like endtimepilgrim. His way of using stories and history to bring prophecy to life is wonderful.
I haven't been writing much lately, but I hope you enjoy reading here. Most of my posts were written 2 or more years ago, while I was exploring church history, especially Catholicism compared to protestantism/biblical Christianity.
