Here's a commentary by D.A. Carson posted by Jack at New Covenant Living. I'm going to have to read this one several times to take it all in, but on a first reading it seems right on target.

I'm not sure exactly what he's saying. At first I thought it was a critique of things like Vision Forum. Later it seemed to be a critique of those who don't take scripture seriously. It always seems to me that all the groups that he might be referring to claim scriptural support. I think this is the best part: "To our shame, we have hungered to be masters of the Word much more than we have hungered to be mastered by it."
