Praying for wisdom, patience, and help

Father in heaven, I thank you for the husband and children you have given me. I ask for your help and the constant reminder of Your presence with me through the day. Please help me to act and respond with patience, kindness, and gentleness to my children. Give me wisdom and discernment to teach and guide them; help me to think before I speak, and then to speak with love, to my husband and my children, so I can be the woman You would have me to be, and that I long to be:
25 Strength and honor are her clothing;
She shall rejoice in time to come.
26 She opens her mouth with wisdom,
And on her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 She watches over the ways of her household,
And does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “ Many daughters have done well,
But you excel them all.”
30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands,
And let her own works praise her in the gates.
(from Proverbs 31)
Amen.

Hello, Jennie

My name is Kathleen Flanagan. I noticed your comment on Joe Mizzi's blog (Just for Catholics), so I decided to drop by your site. It's lovely! It's also very rich, so I'll have to return another day to read more of the meaty matters you post of.

I reside near Phoenix AZ in the real world, or at Sassy Granny's place in the virtual one. You're welcome to drop by my site, if you'd like, otherwise I'll just drop in here now and then.

Be blessed,
Kathleen

P.S. I hope you don't mind, but I've listed you among my Witty, Whacky & Wise blog roll.

Hello Kathleen,
I'm so glad you stopped by my blog and I'm glad you are enjoying it; your kind words encourage me to keep going with it! Right now the blog is mostly a record of the things I've been studying the last few months, with links to others' writings, rather than alot of my own thoughts.
How did you come across 'Just For Catholics' if you don't mind my asking? I think its a very good site to help understand Catholicism as compared to biblical Christianity.
I'd love to visit your site, and comment there; I'll do that soon; right now I've got to run to the store; we've all been sick all week and have run out of everything!
I'm honored that you put my blog on your blogroll, though I'm not sure if it fits any of those descriptions! I try to recognize the wisdom of others and share it, but I don't feel very wise myself.
Take care,
Jennie
